Chunky Potato Soup Starter is a delicious and nutritious alternative to common potato soups. This mix features a variety of garden vegetables in a base made with real whole milk, sweet cream buttermilk and potatoes. This potato soup has neither meat nor meat broth added which makes it perfect for those on a meatless diet. Try adding browned, ground beef or drained canned tuna to make a one-pot meal.

Chunky Potato Soup
¾ heaping cup Chunky Potato Soup Mix
1 ½ cups water
1 cups milk

Combine liquid and the Chunky Potato Soup Mix together well with a wire whisk, while almost bringing to a boil and stirring constantly (to avoid scorching). When the soup begins to boil, reduce heat to simmer for 10 minutes. Remove from heat, cover and let steam 5-10 minutes before serving.

Options: Add diced ham or crumbled bacon for a “stand alone” meal.
